Q: What is the general concept behind the Rater rating questionnaire?
A: The concept behind the ratings is to provide valuable human feedback about the initial interaction and experience between members – after they’ve matched. The rating system also gauges member profile authenticity, rewards good online dating behavior and on the flip side, discourages bad online behavior, scammers or cat fishers.
Q: Can any member rate another member?
A: Yes! Any member - basic or Go Premium, can rate and / or be rated once you’ve mutually matched and moved over into the messaging queue.
Q: Do I have to be a Go Premium paid member to see my + other's ratings details?
A: In order to see the ratings details on both yourself and other Rater members, you will need to upgrade to Go Premium. However, basic members are able to view the overall rating averages.
Q: What happens if I get a “one-off” mean spirited or inaccurate rating from another member?
A: To combat this issue, Rater takes “one off” low or negative ratings and auto-filters them out. Disclaimer: This is only after a member has received 5 or more high ratings from other members. You can also request a Rater internal review of a “one off” bad rating by emailing tech@raterdate.com.
